Vintage Gas Bijoux charm bracelet. A richly detailed bracelet built around a wide, articulated gold-tone chain. Elephant charms, a carved red rose, tiny bells, heart shapes and wooden beads.
The length of the bracelet is 20,5 cm.
Gas Bijoux was founded by André Gas in 1969. He was inspired by hippie movement and handcrafted lucky charm jewelry that he was selling on the beaches of Saint-Tropez.
And in 1971 he opened his first boutique in Saint-Tropez. In the 1980s, Princess Diana was seen wearing Gas Bijoux jewelry.
Condition: two of the heart charms are missing their clear inserts, and there is some loss of the gold-tone finish on the chain. Otherwise in good vintage condition. The abundance of different charms, textures and finishes allows these signs of age to blend naturally into the bracelet’s richly detailed design.
