Lot 166: Vintage Claire Deve Clip-ons

Claire Deve Rakoff is now the creative director of the luxury fine jewelry house Chaumet, but in the 1980s she also had her own costume jewelry label. She designed for major fashion houses including Jean Paul Gaultier, and even created a pair of earrings for Almodóvar’s Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown. From 1996 to 2006, she worked for Chanel.

The clips are lightweight despite their size. There are some signs of age, with the plating worn in places.
